# Mail Templates

The mail templates section is a feature related to a system-related email sent within the system, Concord CRM comes with predefined mail templates content so it can help you get started if you need to modify them further according to your needs.

To edit the mail templates navigate to Settings->Mail Templates

On the right side, select the mail template you want to edit and also choose the appropriate locale, the locale will be mapped with the actual user locale that mail template is sent so the user can receive the mail template in the appropriate locale.

NOTE

In order the mail templates to be sent, you must select a system email account.

# Placeholders

The mail templates feature supports various placeholders that can be used to personalize the sent email for the user that is intended for.

When you will switch to edit mail templates, at the bottom for each mail template you will be able to see the available placeholders that can be added in the email body as:

Most of the custom fields you created will be available in the mailable templates as placeholders as well, note that at this time the custom fields of type MultiSelect and Checkbox cannot be used as placeholders.

# Available Mail Tempaltes

  • Invitation Created

    Sent to the team member that is invited to join in your Concord CRM installation.

  • Activity Reminder

    Sent to the assigned user of the activity based on the activity reminder date.

  • Contact Attends To Activity

    Sent when contact is added as guest on activity, this mail template will be sent with attached .ics file and activity information.*

  • User Attends To Activity

    Sent when user/team member is added as guest on activity, this mail template will be sent with attached .ics file and activity information.

  • User Assigned To Company

    Sent when user is added as owner to company.

  • User Assigned To Contact

    Sent when user is added as owner to contact.

  • User Assigned To Deal

    Sent when user is added as owner to deal.

  • User Assigned To Activity

    Sent when user is added as owner to activity.

  • User Mentioned

    Sent when user is mentioned in any of the resources that support mentioning.

  • Web Form Submitted

    Sent to the web form email addresses that are added to receive notification when the form is submitted.
